Fortuna is based on the tarot's Wheel of Fortune, the card of destiny, personal vision and connection. Fortuna is a ticket booth and secret theatre where you spin a film wheel to start a 3-card video reading. 3 old TVs come into focus, each showing a random short film representing 1 of 78 cards.  

Fortuna empowers participants to divine their own fates using the language of cinema and tarot. While cinema is often seen as a passively consumed medium, a tarot reading is inherently interactive. It requires participants to draw parallels between the cards and one’s personal life to derive meaning.  Like interpreting dreams, Fortuna invites you to divine your own fate from unique sensory and narrative experiences.
